Tina Kang, ASA, MAAA

Tina Thomas Kang is an Associate Actuary in Prudential’s Group Insurance Actuarial Data and Analytics team. She joined Pru as a part of the Actuarial Leadership Development Program (ALDP) after graduating from the University of Pittsburgh in 2016. She has had rotations in Annuities AAT, Finance Model Governance, International GAAP Reporting, Individual Life Pricing, and Enterprise Process, Projections and Capabilities team working on UAT for Individual Life AAT.
Tina has always enjoyed returning to her university to recruit students seeking actuarial opportunities. When the idea of a South Asian focused actuarial network started, she was excited to continue uniting like-minded individuals, who also happen to share similar backgrounds. Her family comes from Kerala, India where she enjoys visiting and eating her grandmother’s delicious home cooked food!
